Bender Tree grows Christmas Trees for choose and cut to be sold during the Holiday Season. Seasonally we may offer B&B stock at the farm. We will run ads when B&B stock is available for purchase or you may contact us to make an appointment for a purchase. People who are signed up on our email list will receive notification when B&B materials become available.
Choose and Cut Christmas trees are available during our holiday weekend hours which are weekends between Thanksgiving and Christmas. 10am to 5pm, Sat. and Sun.
Bender Tree is complient with the rules of the Ohio Department of Agriculture and is current with its Certificate of Nursery Inspection.

Longest Wooden Covered Bridge in the United StatesIn 2008, a new covered bridge was completed just minutes from the farm. It is the longest wooden covered bridge in the United States. It spans the Ashtabula River. Plan to visit it on your way to the farm.

Bender Tree is located in Sheffield Township, Ashtabula County, Ohio. It is a Choose and Cut Christmas Tree farm. Colorado Blue Spruce is the variety which is offered. Spruce is a popular tree because of its strong branches. It will hold heavy ornaments better than the pines. Cut fresh after Thanksgiving it will have good needle retention through Christmas when watered properly.

It is always a pleasure to see everyone come to pick their tree. A special thanks to those who have made Bender Tree their tradition.

Note: If the weather gets bad meaning heavy rains, blizzards or hazardous conditions such as ice or thunder storms the farm will be closed. If heavy snows block the driveway, the farm may be closed. In most cases we have been able to keep it open.

Please dress properly and bring gloves and saw for handling and cutting of trees. Bow saws are the best choice for cutting trees. There will be several available for use at the farm. Anyone entering the farm does so at their own risk. This is a natural rural area so it should be expected that anything that is found in this setting naturally may be encountered on your visit. Proper handling of a saw for cutting trees and bringing the trees to the driveway are your responsibility and done so at your own risk. While on the lot please respect others so that everyone can have a pleasant experience.

Bender Tree is located about an hour and 20 minutes east of Cleveland off Interstate 90. You will exit at the North Kingsville exit which is State Route 193. Go south on State Route193 three miles to Sheffield Rd. Bender Tree is located on the corner of Rt.193 and Sheffield Rd. Enter the driveway at 3381 Sheffield Rd.
